Dhyana Alcaraz
Since I was a child I have liked painting and watching people expressions. I think that through them and especially through their eyes, the wonderful and mysterious world of the soul can be touched.
And since I was a child, in every face I painted, I lost track of time and my problems and sorrows also got lost in nothingness. Painting and happiness have always gone hand in hand for me.
I have had the privilege of painting people from all over the world. My work includes over 300 portraits, displayed in private collections in different countries, including the portrait of the former Queen of Spain, Doña Sofía, which was in the private salon of the kings and is now in the private residence of King Felipe VI.
